Professional Practice
I am committed to providing a professional, supportive, and confidential service. As a member of the AfSFH, The Hypnotherapy Directory, and the NCH, I work in accordance with their professional codes of conduct.
Hypnotherapy works best when clients actively engage in the process. As I am not medically trained, I cannot diagnose medical conditions, and hypnotherapy should not be used as a replacement for medical advice or treatment.
Free Initial Consultations
Initial consultations are free of charge. If you fail to attend or provide less than 24 hours’ notice, a £10 deposit will be required to secure any future consultation appointment. This will either be refunded after attendance or deducted from your first paid session.
Sessions
- Standard sessions last approximately -60 minutes.
- Smoking and vaping cessation sessions last approximately 90-120 minutes and are usually completed in one appointment.
- Please arrive on time, as sessions cannot usually be extended if you arrive late.
Payment
- Payment must be made within 48 hours of booking to secure your appointment or block booking (via bank transfer or cash is accepted)
- Smoking and vaping cessation appointments require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
- Current fees can be found on my website.
Block Bookings
- Block bookings are non-refundable.
- Block bookings allow you to secure regular appointment dates and times in advance.
- The 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy still applies to all sessions within a block booking.
- Alternatively, appointments can be booked individually after each session, although the same appointment day and time cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
- Requests to rearrange appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice may be considered at my discretion but cannot be guaranteed.
- Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be charged in full.
Contact Between Sessions
Contact between sessions should be limited to booking and administrative matters.
If we meet outside of the therapy setting, I will not initiate contact in order to protect your privacy and confidentiality. You are welcome to acknowledge me, and I will follow your lead.
